ABOUT TORVALD

The oldest of the Western Seas cantons, Torvald is the smallest – but encompasses the most densely populated areas of the island of Oahu. Officially from Hawaii Kai to the south, all the way to Kalihi, and separated from the other cantons of Oahu by mountains and water. This area includes the most famous of landmarks, Diamond Head and Waikiki. It also is home to the historic Chinatown and Iolani Palace (the only royal palace in the United States).

*Certain areas of Torvald are under dispute, particularly Nuuanu Valley (which Castle North lays claim to) and Kalihi Valley (hotly contested by Bard’s Keep and Castle North). The geopolitical boundaries of this canton are constantly being tested. Without leadership, Torvald may succumb.

** There are a few people who reside in Torvald, but they are mostly hidden by the impenetrable concrete and stone jungle.
